![]() The room design was also really cleverly engineered as it made me feel very “déjà vu” when we returned to where we started. There were a lot of “wow” moments in the room that we can’t express without spoilers, so you’ll have to go and experience it yourself. Also, we noticed one object was quite high for my height so it would be good to have a tall person in your team as I would have had difficulty reaching it without stepping on something. If there was a way where that could be avoided and the hint system was enough to bypass it, that would have better the experience. There was one puzzle we were not great at and the game master actually had to come in to assist. We love the multi-level feel of climbing up to the cabin and entering into the home. The cabin's design and props used were very authentic. He stashed his gold in this cabin and we needed to find the gold before the mob does! The set design was amazing in this room! From the lighting to sound, we felt immersed right away. He’s a greedy gold prospector who loved to gamble and now he’s lost a lot of money and is in trouble with the mob. Would definitely recommend! It was a great experience, and I'll be going back as soon as they change up the puzzles for a new challenge! Our storyline begins at Clyde Hamilton’s cabin in the woods. The group bonded well and we learned a little about each other's strengths and weaknesses as we worked. ![]() It was fun! We got through everything, and there was an awesome sense of accomplishment with each new epiphany. We were scared right out of our shoes at one point in time, and a friend of mine screamed and jumped about three feet off the ground after that the tone of the situation changed to be much more under-pressure and intense. It was scary: as time ran out, you could feel the urgency increasing. Only through use of teamwork and logic were we able to start making sense of patterns, clues, and data, and only then we were able to start cracking locks. It was hard: we got into the room and had an hour left, and immediately uncovered tons of numbers, pictures, and other pieces of information we had no idea what to do with. we will see what happens.Īustin Panic Room was fun. Reached out to them to hopefully see if this was a one off bad experience but it was rough. It was worth the try but for something more expensive and such low technology I’ll opt for something else in he future. Especially when another location was infinitely better. Overall was my absolute worst experience and wouldn’t come back to this location. When we solved the code we didn’t even realized it was over that’s how undramatic the whole experience was. We had awkward walkie talkies vs an intercom system to work off of and the final clue required us to verify code versus some sort of an actual suspense. It was super awkward and didn’t feel like an escape room at all. ![]() Honestly within the first 10 mins we already had the last combination because all the wall Art hiding instructions were already left open. we ended up finishing within 30 mins and realized half of the puzzles weren’t even finished but somehow we solved everything. After answering several clues we had other clues revealed but because of poor set up answers were still on sheets etc. As we went in half of the pictures and clues were already opened and it didn’t seem like the room was fully prepared properly. Two other groups went in before us as we waited for our room. All employees there didn’t know how to do that room so we were forced to wait til someone that knew it arrived. After our party all arrived we sat in the waiting room and didn’t make it into the room til 20min after the assigned time. 23 Reviews Badge of Excellence Austin, United States 1 hour 15 minutes (approx. The experience couldn’t have been polar opposites from our first location.Īs we arrived the employee passed me 5-7 times asking the same question of what room we booked and time. We did an escape room at another location earlier in the day and wanted to book another escape room, unfortunately the room was not avail at another location so we searched for the next availability which happened to be here.
